I'm way behind on capturing all of our summer memories and first days of school and first steps and first words. So let's start from here:
Daniel lost a tooth last night. The Tooth Fairy forgot to show, but Daniel quickly blamed her failed mission on the way I hid the tooth pillow. Works for me.
Addie asks me 50 times a day if we can decorate for Halloween, but Steve is painting the house so we need to wait for him to finish first. We made this in the meantime.
We sprayed the snakes and skeletons with glitter so they wouldn't seem so creepy. This wreath was really cute with just the owl and stripey ribbon, but minimalism and 4 year old girls are not acquainted.
Addie had her field trip to the pumpkin patch today. She fell after the hayride and skinned her knees, then bumped her head on the slide, then had to have a time out after her three-year-old self resurfaced. I was bummed to see her since it had been weeks since her last sighting. She hasn't left yet today. This could be a rough one.

Ha:) If Poppy could be five right now I would take it. The threes have been pretty miserable.
ReplyDeleteI am REALLY trying to embrace three...but I'm encouraged that there will be a time when it only comes out every once in a while :)
